Hello All,
I am writing to you about the episode for next year. I think that I might not do Skype, but I might do either BlogTalkRadio or TalkShoe. Or I might do Skype with BlogTalkRadio or TalkShoe. Either way, you still have to call in. We'll see what happens in January. But for sure, it will be on a Saturday night MST.
I have to go and eat now before going to work tonight. I've also written a poem that I haven't posted yet.
Sincerely,
Midnight Starr

Hello All,
I still haven't heard anything from Podbean. They said on the website that they might not get back to everyone in time. So, I am glad that I have posted the MP3 version on the last blog.
As for the January call in, I was researching if Blog Talk Radio and Talk Shoe allows people to do Skype calls and they do. I just have to figure out how to do and which one would be easier.
As for the podcast website, it's still not up. Again, I'll have to wait and see what podbean says about my t…

Hello Everyone,
Above here is the link to where you can get the podcast. If you are having trouble, please bear with me. The link is called Rod's Picks1. I still cannot get into

Hello Everyone,
I do have the podcast ready, but I am currently having problems putting it on podbean.com. They have done some system upgrading to the point where you cannot get into
http://midnightstarr.podbean.com. It's frustrating for me to sign in anyway. So, I think that I might have to wait until tomorrow to figure what happened to the website.
Sincerely,
Midnight Starr

This poem was about a conversation that I had with someone who used to work for the same company that I am currently working for. If you cannot understand a line, please let me know. I'll explain it.
An interesting conversation
About the company I work for
You did too
It's on your resume.
You mention the reason why you left
You being a humanitarian
Your boss was materialistic
I, the devil's advocate.
The situation you mentioned
A plane crash, the pilot died
The plane carried bundles of…

Hello All,
I still haven't received any word as to what you all think about doing an entire podcast where you all read your poems through Skype. I don't have a deadline for the response. I just want to know.
I wish that my employers will let me take a break and let me right a poem when I am at work, but I can't. I think that I did have an idea for a poem. Plus working nights and sleeping in late will make a poet dead tired. Now I'm giving other poets some ideas for a poem. LOL.
Sincerely,
Mid…

Hello Everyone,
I think that it is a great idea that Ning has just introduced. You can now send those computer gifts to whomever has a poem that you like. That's why I did with Rod's poem "Now." I gave him a microphone icon. These gifts do have points to them too. But it's not the points that count. It's just a nice jester anyway. What do you all think of this idea?

Hello Everyone,
Since there wasn't much poetry writing, I still ended up with a podcast.
In this month's podcast we have:
1. Missed Opportunity - Unspoken
2. After Autumn - Makar
3. Now - Rod Moffat
Since the winner of last month's best poem didn't pick the winner, I had to do it and this month's best poem winner is... Rod Moffat with his poem "Now."
I also have a question about changing the format of the podcast. I wanted to do it totally using Skype. I can record live conversations using…

Hello Everyone,
Since this website has been slow since September, I just thought of another idea on how to get the podcast moving again.
I was thinking that I should record all of you reading your own poems via Skype. There is a way for me do that. Now the challenge is time zones. I know that there are some of you that are from Australia.
Let me know what you all think of this idea.
Sincerely,
Midnight Starr

Hello All,
I have one simple question to put out to all of you people. It seems like the last couple of weeks, no one, but myself has been putting out some poetry. Now I know that people are busy. So here's the question:
What should I do to improve this site and to make other poets join?
Sincerely,
Midnight Starr

This poem was written as I am reading an Esoteric book called The Tree Of Life. Again this is a rough draft of the poem. So I do need some input. Especially the last two stanzas.
The bible is only a book
Full of stories
Not taken literally
Rather allegorically.
The tree of life
Is on story, misconstrued.
First by word of mouth
Then by the written word.
The serpent took an apple
And gave it to Eve
Pressured her to bite it
And kick her and Adam
Out of the garden.
The allegory is…

You can all respond back to me on how I wrote this poem last night. You can also write back if there is any changes that I have to make with this poem too.
The night
She calms me
Some would think otherwise
Like prehistoric humans
Today the hungry beasts of the night
Is the mythical
Unknown rapist
Or murderer
They are mythical
Those unknown rapists
Or murderers
Unless you are friends with them.
Sexual harassment is rape
Violating the body
Violating self worth
Forever in the mind
Of the…

I wish my mother worked
Outside the home
She never did
Yet, she knows everything
About the world of work.
She wants me to be the teacher
Not knowing
Anything about psychology
Everything you need to learn
About teaching
Is taught in a textbook.
She wanted me to be a Vet
Science wasn`t the best subject
She doesn`t understand
The requirements of College
Or University.
She didn`t want me to work
When I left the nest
That`s how I came back
And I still want to leave.
She`s thinks that she is
The b…

Hello All,
I just found out that I am going to train for a new job for the next two weeks. Otherwise, I have my days free and not my nights. I am going to do two things next weekend. One is going to a New Age Expo and the other is to promote the Midnight's Muse podcast in another fair or trade show about the arts.
So that means that there is going to be a delay on when the next podcast will be out. I usually put it out on the fourth Sunday. But I don't know right.
My other problem is finding…

Walking home from school
One time years ago.
Looked on the other side of the road
I witnessed something horrible.
A Magpie pecked
The back of a Robin's head
The Robin fell forward dead
Face down.
I couldn't comprehend the horror
Changed my view of Magpies
As greedy landlords
Getting their way.
Years later
Getting off the bus
After a Shamanic Ritual Rehearsal
Another terrible thing happened.
This time on a neighbor's tree
A Crow chased a Magpie away
After it witnessed a murder
Another Robin w…

Hello All,
I am just wonder how everybody enjoyed listening to Nola by Joel A. Brown about Hurricane Katrina? I am also wondering if you also like the fun topics that I have chosen for the month (And you don't really have to write about them). There were two topics: 1) The first day of school (Yours or if you have kids, theirs), and 2) 9/11?
I'm also having some problems with this site and with Google Chrome. If anybody has a solution, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Midnight Starr
