Living on Phillip Island Victoria Australia and with her computer near a window Loretta spends more time staring at the view than actually writing. Her love of words orginated in childhood and after a hiatus of some 30 years she has returned to writing. Her first love is poetry. Using a variety of styles, Loretta finds she can capture individual thoughts or tell stories. Passion or humour, wisdom or nonsense are all targets of her work.

Just wanted to say how much fun I am having!

It's great to be able to interact on all nature of topics and in all forms of communications. Exchanging pics is wonderful but the bit I like best is being able to respond in verse to someone's work! and more to the point no-one thinks I'm silly (hmmmm should I rephrase that?? lol)

Loretta, Rod's favorite poem is "Fridge." You can go to the latest blog and download the podcast from there. Sincerely, Midnight Starr

Hi Loretta! The Snowbow picture is for you! It was a great day today! The beautiful, unexpected snow fall, and then a beautiful bow in the sky later on. Unfortunately my camera did not do the bow justice. It was much prettier in reality.

Loretta,

I'm not too sure what to say. I will look into that one.

Loretta,
We live a life of the semi-retired... We enjoy every waking moment to the fullest extent possible. We Play. As a family, all we do is play. It is fun for us and for the boys. As for work, we are both web designers and L. also helps a local contractor setting tile and comp. rock. I sent you an e-mail with a GE map showing where I live.

Thanks Loretta,

I was going to have a long speech about the origins of Halloween. But I thought that I might keep it short.

I was also going to give you some hints about the November podcast. But let's just say that it is something more exciting. And I hope that my editing skills get better. Not to mention my speaking skills. I have heard myself and I noted in my brain to slow down a bite. Hey, I'm still learning.

Sincerely,
Midnight Starr

Hi Loretta, Thank you for the positive comments. I really enjoy writing poetry. I like simple because I find it easy to read and it keeps your attention. Though I would love to write a long epic one day. Just haven't figured out how to do it yet. - Smiles - RavenWolfe

Loretta,

I was just reading your comment that you have left me. And funny that you wrote it when I was taking a weekend long course in Body Reading. You mentioned Chakras and you also mentioned Qigong meditation. I do listen to a podcast on Qigong meditation.

Also, right now my heart is singing because of the Body Readin workshop that I was just in. Writing these experiences are great because people can relate to them. Plus, I get it out of my system.

As for Haiku, I'll think about that. I usually write prose and free form. I think that I have tried to write a different sylabic Haiku (Not 5-7-5). I'll try again. But right now, I will have to still do some personal work (Which is lifelong).

Sincerely,
Midnight Starr
