- I've recently found myself a disabled housewife, which has been difficult for me, because I've worked for the last 20 years of my life. But It's given me time to concentrate more on creative ventures, and that I have been enjoying. I've also really enjoyed having time to help support others in their own problems, which has helped me forget about mine.

Welcome to Midnight's Muse. Several of us here, me included, have been through very traumatic experiences, and through those experiences we have gained a new outlook on life. I feel this shows up in our poems, writes and lives.
I have made several really great friends on this site that extends beyond this site, I look forward to reading some of your work and getting to know you.

Welcome. It is great to see that you are taking such a positive approach to your circumstance. My housework is pretty disabled too - no I am not making light of you situation just my appalling housekeeping. There are a few poets on the site who have used their writing to express the trauma and the journey. It might be that you identify with their work and they with yours at a deep spiritual level.
I look forward to reading some of your work.
